"The other side" raconte le parcours nocturne et terrifiant d’une amie de l’artiste, qui s’échappe de Pyongyang pour rejoindre le Sud. A la lumière des étoiles, et avec un simple compas pour se diriger, elle se demande ce qui l’attend de l’autre côté.

Le single a été co-produit par Laura Perrudin, qui colore ce titre de gospel apocalyptique avec ses choeurs, sa harpe chromatique électrique préparée, un orgue, et même des chaînes, pour suivre pas à pas l'exil de la jeune coréenne.
